At nine years old, my family and I moved to the United States from Indonesia. Barely speaking any English, I felt lost and alone, but art was my comfort. It helped me find a way to communicate and make friends. My fourth grade art teacher, Mr. Clancy, saw my artistic talents and gave me the confidence to pursue my passion.
Over the years, my passion for art has never faded. Whether I'm designing for print, web, or video, I challenge myself to come up with innovative ideas. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have started my career in graphic design during the transition from traditional paste-up and film to digital design. It was an exciting time to be in the industry, and I learned a lot from the pioneers who were pushing the boundaries of what was possible.
